Non-profit for AI-driven education accessible to frontier entrepreneurs

We create accessible and personalized learning experiences that address challenges faced by entrepreneurs in emerging markets.

Our Mission

Micro-entrepreneurship is the primary source of employment in frontier economies. Since 2010, Chex has been at the forefront of providing education to these micro-entrepreneurs. In 2016, we were recognized and written up as a Harvard Business School case study. Our goal is to leverage AI and our experience to create and distribute impactful content to some of the most inaccessible frontier economies.

What We Do

We build and deliver content focused on educating micro-entrepreneurs in hard to reach frontier economies. More than 120,000 persons have benefited from our programs including online workshops, in-person workshops and internships. A significant portion of our participants are women in Tier 2 or 3 cities and towns. We are currently working on building audience-specific on-demand education content with AI. Some of the countries our programs have reached include remote parts of Mongolia, Kazakhstan, Vietnam, Uzbekistan, Malaysia and Northeast China.
